The original version of this script was written by Manfred Stienstra. The script was then completed and maintained for several years (2005-2007) by Yuri Takhteyev, while procrastinating from his Ph.D. Waylan Limberg has joined the project in 2007 and has been doing a lot of work since. Artem Yunusov worked on the library in the summer of 2008, funded by Summer of Code and has been crucial for a substantial rewrite of the library (the "2.0" release).
