Ticket Information
Ticket Title
The constructor of the ``Markdown`` class accepts, as its ``extensions`` argument, a mixed list of extension names and ``Extension`` objects. One would expect the wrapper functions ``markdown()`` and ``markdownFromFile()`` to do the same, but these accept only strings. Discussed on the mailing list thread "[Python-markdown-discuss] Passing Extension objects to markdown() and markdownFromFile() does not work", archived at http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_name=AANLkTi%3DTbeyFZYDq2r0K79ky87bpCej5N7_rxb%2BLv2R-%40mail.gmail.com
